Mr. Petr concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial law, secured creditor representation, loan workouts and bankruptcy. He has also continuously served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee for more than 30 years, presiding over at least 700 cases per year.

Recent Case of Interest:: A judgment obtained by John Petr on behalf of a commercial lender against a corporate guarantor in the trial court was unanimously affirmed by the Indiana Court of Appeals. In the "For Publication" opinion rendered in March, 2009 in Richard Moore vs. Wells Fargo Construction, the Court dealt with issues concerning commercially reasonable sales of collateral and notices of sale.
