Mr. Bosma serves as general or special counsel to more than a dozen political subdivisions and inter-local boards and advises fire and police chiefs, mayors, trustees, legislative bodies and governmental boards across the state. Mr. Bosma has served as lead counsel for more than thirty public construction projects ranging from small facilities to complex governmental centers, has litigated employment and disciplinary matters for public safety agencies, has participated as lead counsel in local redistricting and voting rights matters and has represented local units of government in complex condemnation litigation.

With a degree in engineering from Purdue University (environmental emphasis), Mr. Bosma also serves as the Chairman of the Kroger Gardis & Regas Environmental Practice Group. He regularly advises public and private clients involved in real estate and business transactions involving properties with environmental concerns, and represents parties before the Environmental Protection Agency, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, and in state and federal courts in environmental litigation.

Representative Bosma has served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives since 1986, and was elected Speaker of the House in 2004. In 2006 he returned to the position of Republican Leader for the 115th General Assembly. Throughout his public career, Representative Bosma's legislative initiatives have focused in the areas of economic development, education reform, property tax relief, the improvement of services for the disabled and environmental protection. Representative Bosma currently serves as a member of the Legislative Council, and has served as a member of the Ways and Means Committee, the Environmental Affairs Committee, the Education Committee, the Commerce Committee and as an advisor to the State Budget Committee.

Mr. Bosma is a frequent author and lecturer on environmental, corporate and municipal matters, and has served for more than a decade as a lecturer for various Bar Review Courses in the areas of corporations, partnership and agency law. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his public service and civic efforts.

Mr. Bosma concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and business law, municipal representation, environmental law and construction matters.
